"Cons- The family accomodation not suitable for more than 4 people with a max of 2 adults per stay. The towels were tiny, they were only big enough to wrap around my 5 year old son. The lift in the building was tiny and only big enough for 2 people. Pro-The apartment was easily accessible and the communication was excellent. The supermarkets were the next to the apartment which was great. The walk to the city was easy and close. "

The bedroom with a bathroom are on the ground floor. there is an AC in the bedroom but not cool enough, only works like a fan. The AC upstairs is better but not enough to cover the living/dining/extra bed area....

"There seemed to be some confusion over our room we tried to rectify it straight away especially as there was no light in the bathroom, but no one was at reception desk. So was sorted next day. The room was changed and was more like what we had booked, it was clean but basic. Im not sure I’d go back there again. On Expedia it said you could get food at an additional fee. No such service. If I’m honest I was disappointed with it. "

"The apartment was small, but well stocked with towels and kitchen items.. and coffee pellets. The best thing about the place is the view of lake and alps. And the patio with table where we could sit for meals or aperitif. Very fine visit.. gondola and boat ride were fantastic too!"

Be sure to email and call a few days in advance of your arrival to ensure that you can get a hold of someone if you need to communicate in English. "This was an awesome hotel. 10' walk from train station and no stairs (however, there are cobblestones). The front desk staff were particularly awesome. I forget her name, but one of the ladies was so helpful when my husband needed some medical help. Very much appreciated! The only small negative is that the soap dispensers were VERY hard for me to squeeze (both shower & sink) to get soap dispensed - but I do have arthritis :( Other than that, don't hesitate to book these lovely, yet affordable hotel."

"Small hotel close to the train station and about an 8-10 minute walk to the old town. The “big room” was spacious with a nice sitting area. I saw the “medium room” and it was big enough for 2 people. You may hear trams go by but it’s not loud and frequent. The area around the hotel is great with several coffee shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again."
