It was good except the pool area was closed because the roof collapsed. The front desk receptionist was nice. The beds were pretty comfortable.The lady that worked in the breakfast area on the last day of our stay was horrible. First she yelled at my daughter for pouring too much batter into the waffle maker. Then when they were about to close, my husband was get me some tea and the lady came out with the cart and my husband didn't move out of her way quick enough so she deliberately pushed the cart right into his butt.

Staff helpful and friendly. Rooms small, but space is used efficiently. Rooms were clean and welcoming. There is occasional noise from the mechanics of the building (e.g. HVAC). A bit outside of town, probably a 20 minute walk to city center. I was comfortable, felt safe, and would stay there again if in the area.

As others have said, there are aspects that may need updating, but it looks to me that they have tried. The hotel is older. The lady who checked us in went above and beyond and was super helpful and nice. The maintenance man was also very nice( we didn't need him, he just struck up a conversation.). The room was very clean. There was coffee and water in the lobby. We did not partake in the free breakfast. For the cost of the room, we would def stay again.
