"Lovely room in big house with shared spaces. Michael was a great host, very easy to communicate with and was welcoming and understanding when we arrived late. Loved the layout and design of the house, I can see it being easy to share with others. I will say the Wotif ad was a little confusing, saying things like "this room has a private patio/balcony" which is untrue, but the shared outdoor space was lovely. "

"All staff were very professional, courteous and helpful. Very happy to accommodate my disability and help when needed. Property was very neat, had all what we needed and best of all was well worth its money, with breakfast included in the price. Definitely a place to stay at. "

"Whilst the accommodation and place itself was lovely we were very disappointed in the food options. The restaurant set menu wasn't to our taste and the bistro had very limited options and if you are vegetarian be happy with char greens and chips. Given Yarra Valley Lodge is out of town I feel more options should be available for different diets. The bistro got very busy because of large groups (who didn't book a table) which made it a very loud place "

"When we first checked in had to wait awhile for someone to come to reception after 2 nights in our room no 11 we requested a change of room due to the noise of the main air conditioners next to the room they kindly moved us to room no 3 which was very quiet.The size of the room was really good ,good shower and comfy bed wasn’t happy with the pillows.Overall was happy staying there good position for travelling the peninsula "

"It’s an older hotel but very clean. The staff and service are fantastic. Pool is great. Close to a major shopping centre and public transport. Area is safe with plenty of dining options close by."
