"If you can’t do the Belmond in Valle Segrado, this is the next best choice. Albiet an older property, the grounds are lovely and to our great delight an alpaca on site. Our only disappointment was the concierge’s service, as this trip to MP was all new for us and we found out later there is more to see around Valle Segrado which was strangely never mentioned/suggested. "The staff was very friendly and helpful. Helped us book a taxi and packed us breakfast for our trip to Machu Picchu. Even help us get passes back we forgot at the hotel. The food at their restaurant was delicious. One thing I would suggest is putting screens on the balcony doors. Overall a great place. "

"Dream like setting for a hotel. Stayed here for 3 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The resort is surrounded by towering mountains on both sides with a river flowing through. The onsite dining and breakfast options were high quality and the service very good. The room we were in felt a little short on space. However, floor to to ceiling glass doors gave a very roomy feel with stunning views of nature. There is a hiking trail that goes to Pumamarca ruins just outside the hotel entrance...

"Alex is such a welcoming host. It is out of the busy area and in a nice secluded area. You can see the Templo sel sol right behind you. The rooms are super clean, beds comfy and warm and the courtyard is such a treat. Alex goes out of his way to make you feel at home giving us tips for things to do and also arranging oue transport. We also stored our luggage! Leo served us the most amazing breakfast with local bread, buttery avocado, delicious cafe au lait and fresh oj. Thank you! "

"Hotel has nice setup with a grassy courtyard in the middle. The room was basic but comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was good - complete with made to order eggs. The location is very convenient to the town square and exploring the sites. "
