Cesmeli Konak Garden

3.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (144)
"This beautiful old ottoman hotel is beautiful. The rooms are quite basic but very clean and comfortable. The aircon was brilliant (it was very hot while we were in Safranbolu) and we had a lovely view from our room. The buffet breakfast was a fairly typical Turkish breakfast with plentiful options and we were very satisfied with it. The location is fantastic with jus a short walk to all the action. We only stayed 2 nights but wish it could have been longer . If we are ever lucky enough to...

Havuzlu Asmazlar Konagi

9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (17)
"This hotel is in a traditional Turkish noble families mansion. You enter through a massive walled gate and immaculately kept garden before reaching the hotel door. The decorations and furnishings throughout the lobby and rooms takes you back in time and relaxes your spirit. The staff is wonderful and ready to make you feel like a noble guest. They have the most wonderful restaurant. It’s a easy 500 meter walk to the magic world of old Safranbolu. Our mistake was to only have one night there."

"Safranbolu is a UNESCO World Heritage site. We stayed in the old, wooden town. Easy to walk around. Hotel very helpful with maps etc. A must to visit is Yoruk, very old town, 12 km away being restored. It was a 6.5 drive from Istanbul & absolutely worth the trip. "
