"Aesthetically absolutely beautifully designed interior, however not so functional. We stayed over the new year so it was cold/dry weather so we wish they had humidifiers.
The beds are extremely comfortable unlike the beds at the major hotels so we were able to get rest well to recover from 13 hours flight.
Unfortunately unlike other guests, we didn't get response from the owner quickly. We got a response 3 days after we checked out which was not a big deal anyway. "
"There wasn’t elevator for this property, but staff helped us carry our luggage to our rooms. The rooms are very large for Japanese standards, as at least one wing was repurposed from an old bank branch. "
"Love the views from the room, onsen, resting area with the sense of glamorous old school Japanese style. Well thoughts for stayer with great hotel’s massage with reasonable price, country side vibe onsen, free ramen from 10pm (unsure if applies to all). I am not going to think of other stays in Hakodate, but here!"
"It is a small cozy place for a short stay. Staff are friendly and able to speak english. Check in was very easy. Location is easy to find and great as it is walkable to the train station.
I like the breakfast spread. "
"This is the best 3 stars hotel. We love the hot springs that included in the hotel. It’s compact but very clean and have everything we need. We definitely come back to Tokyu stay franchise on our next trip to Japan"
"Wonderful stay - so comfortable and welcoming and in a great location (we came by train). Would definitely return as we loved the city as much as the hotel. "
"The hotel is in an excellent location, being opposite JR Hakodate station and the famous seafood markets.
Even though we were staying in winter, the hotel was nice and cozy and the staff were excellent.

"The staff couldn't do more for you. Ushered to front desk and personally taken to the room and everything explained..
Room was beautiful. Futon very comfortable.
Top floor onsen and several onsen on the bottom floor.
Breakfast was plentiful.
I'd stay again. "
"This is a really nice and clean hotel. Our initial room smelled like cigarettes and the staff checked it out. They then upgraded us to another room with ocean view as an apology. Very kind staff.
They do speak English.
The bathhouse (onsen) is great. Many options and clean. It is right next to the ocean too!
