"A great French country boarding house. We came at off season and had the place to ourselves! Best eggs for breakfast of our entire trip!!! Dinner at the hotel was more expensive than I expected but worth the price. Would love to have been here on a warmer day to explore the grounds but it was just too cold. "Welcoming, very pleasant & helpful staff. Room clean & modern. Stairs quite steep, there is a lift to the 1st floor only, suppose because it is an older building. Food very good, beautifully presented & great flavours. Our bugbear was the flies in the buffet area & restaurant at breakfast- maybe this was weather related as it had very wet then hot. We very much enjoyed our stay"

"A delightful and eclectic decor and four resident case acting as social directors. Unfortunately in this very small town their restaurant is closed for dinner on weekend and the other hotel restaurants in town were limited in capacity to their own guests. The closure was due to staffing difficulties so I hate to point this out, but we ended up getting burgers at a local snack shop--and they were so busy it was an hour wait to pick up our order! "A very stylish and modern hotel positioned in the centre of town. Don’t pay extra for parking at the rear as there’s plenty of spaces in the market place outside the hotel. All rooms have air con which was welcome with temperatures at 32c. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but it seemed very popular with local people. Breakfast was quite basic but adequate."
