"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour malgré une semaine assez pluvieuse. Le confort de ce gite, bien équipé, y a largement contribué. La chaleur du poêle à granulés a été appréciée au retour des randonnées parfois bien arrosées (par la pluie)."

Le temps était superbe malgré la saison. Juste déçu par l'endroit ou nous logions. Il n'était stipulé nulle part que c'était le long d'une route ou la circulation commençait assez tôt le matin..donc pas vraiment de grasses mat...Voili voilou.."

"We had an amazing time in Doucier. It's a wonderfully tranquil area, perfect for a peaceful and rejuvenating vacation. The property was exactly as described; upon our arrival, everything was clean and just like in the pictures. The porch is a real plus, especially during the summer! On a less positive note, the beds are not the most comfortable, and if you plan on cooking, bring your kitchen utensils as there is only the bare minimum provided, which was a bit challenging for us as we love to...

"L'endroit est idéalement situé : dans la campagne, au calme et assez proche des principales activités touristiques de la région (Baume les Messieurs, Cascades du Hérisson,...). La ville de Lons-le-Saunier est également assez proche, avec beaucoup de magasins, ce qui permet de faire ses courses facilement. La maison ne manque de rien : cuisine full équipée, climatisation, spa, piscine couverte, terrasse avec plancha,... Et rien à redire au niveau de la propreté. Nous nous y sommes sentis à l'aise...

"Stayed here for a week in June 2024, two people and one dog. Beautiful old townhouse on a side street close to the center of a busy little town. Really characterful house with high ceilings and big windows decorated in a really relaxing modern style. The garden is great....basically completely walled and not overlooked at all. "Nous avons loué ce logement pour un we sportif et convivial entre amis. Anne s’est montré particulièrement arrangeante et disponible en amont et tout au long du weekend. "Check in wasn't great - took 3 room changes to get the book ed twin room instead of a double. Restaurant was very good - good food with quick service. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast. Sadly our stay was spoiled by another hotel guest shouting and singing at 2am for about an hour. Eventually someone came to deal with it but our night's sleep was ruined. Also there were smokers in the non-smoking rooms which we could smell. "

LA SITTELLE ENCHANTEE, a break in the countryside

WONDERFUL IN EVERY WAY

"We think that The Enchanted Sittelle is the perfect place to stay. The facilities are complete and as fo the setting and location, among forests and lakes, it couldn't be bettered. Our hosts, Christine and Bénigne, made us feel completely at home. Their welcome was warm and friendly and Christine explained how everything worked in the site so that we never had a problem with anything in the house. She also pointed us to some of the beautiful towns and villages, which we enjoyed visiting, and even enabled us to understand the different classifications of Comté cheese! Being so close to the A39, makes it easy to travel quickly around the region too, another good advantage of the location. We left some things behind and Christine kindly offered to post them to us, another good example of the excellent host she is. We hope to enjoy another stay there next year. In a word, it's Fabulous"."

"The hotel is quite isolated and there are no dining options around. It is advertised as having air conditioning, but I would not rely on that. Luckily it cooled down at night. Comparing to other hotels in the area, it was overpriced for what it offers."
