"Our stay was only 3 days, part of our Maine road-trip. The house is lovely! It’s cozy and comfy with a gorgeous view of Long Lake from the big windows, from the lake front seating, from the dock with my feet in the water, and, in case of rain, from the porch. It’s nicely stocked with welcome treats, condiments, soap and paper supplies. We had a wonderful stay, exploring in the morning and chilling in the afternoon, watching loons and geese. "

"We liked our stay -the room and bed were clean and modern. We were on the second floor with no elevator. It had both inside and outside stairs; the latter are steep. The whole building is in need of updating. We wanted to sit on the veranda on the second floor looking out over the grounds, but the tables and furniture were dirty, That said, the hotel has a character of its own. We liked the location situated off the main road. We got a good nights sleep and enjoyed exploring Madawaska. The hotel is located only a few hundred feed from the Canadian Border Crossing. We also enjoyed going over for dinner in Edmunston, Canada."

"The location was perfect for us. Close to campus, the river, grocery store and downtown resterants. It was clean and had lots of space. It would have been nice to have. sponge for the kitchen sink and soap for the showers. "

"Great clean cabin for a peaceful getaway. Close to the trails, Long Lake and Lakeview. Communication was great, made sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. "

"We never completed checkin. The photos are not of the current property. They one had one room in any condition to be used, and it was not comparable to the photos listed. The manager was new, and helpful, and did issue a refund."
