"My family and I had a wonderful time at this clean and comfortable house. There was everything we needed with many thoughtful touches. The house and property have a lot of history, and the hosts were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The property is gorgeous and the surrounding area has lots to see and do. "This was a great base for a couple of nights to explore part of the Loire Valley..The little village about 3 km away - Chaumont-Sur-Loire - has several good restaurants, and other shops. The house was very comfortable, spotlessly clean, good sized rooms, and well equipped. "The staff was superb. We, having been in France for 3 weeks prior to our arrival had quite a bit of laundry. The staff, took care of this for us at our arrival and we received our clean folded clothes the next day. Nothing beats this location as the rear of the hotel puts you right in the center of a pedestrian street lined on all sides with cafes and restaurants as well as the entry to the Chateau Amboise. Free street parking in the front of the hotel could not be more convenient. While the hotel interior could use some updating, our room was perfect. The staff out performed expectations. Access to surrounding Loire Valley points of interest made this a perfect base for exploration."
