"This was a very disappointing stay. First of all it was difficult to find(google maps takes you to an apartment block!) and if looking fir a golf course as in a previous review states, the nearest one is 3miled away! It is on a housing estate and an hours walk from Tours centre. The villa itself is beautiful. However the owner has little English and it is difficult to find him when you need him! We were not given a WiFi code and had to ask about parking and code to get back in at night. The bed...

"It was like taking a step back to the 14th century...With a great bathroom! The whole property is beautiful. The modern bathroom and shower is 21st century with radiant heat in the floors. All of the staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was awesome. Thanks to Veronic and Rayanon."

"Very cute stay in Amboise. This is more of a B B vibe than hotel. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. There was a small shared kitchen where we could prepare morning coffee. Very close to the Main tourist street over the bridge. "

"The two of us had a delightful stay at Le Petite Vigne. We were cycling town to town and there was a place to secure our bikes which we appreciated. The house is lovely, old and full of character. "What an incredible coincidence! We stayed at this same hotel in the same room 8 years ago! Last time, the little bed in the corner wasn’t necessary for a couple, but this time we came with our 2 year old son who loved sleeping in his first real bed! The new indoor pool is a luxurious addition since our 2016 stay and this time we splurged for the in-room breakfast, which was so copious and delicious that we haven’t been hungry for the rest of the day! More than worth the additional charge! "

"Lovely place, and very nice owners. Great rooms and beds. The pool was fun, and the hot tub very nice. And the breakfast was fantastic. The only thing to be aware of is that if you don't have a car it's hard to get to (taxis are hard to come by in Amboise), and a decent walk from downtown Amboise."
