"This is in a retirement complex within walking distance (1km) of the centre of Lisieux. The room we had was good, with a kitchen with Hob and microwave and a dining area. At the weekend the access to the building is by key code and the reception is not manned all the time. Very quiet. The set up seems quite surreal, but actually works well."

"We loved this house. To be honest the photos don’t do it justice. Very well equipped including downstairs cellar like room with extra fridge freezer, always handy. BBQ’s and sun loungers in garage and footballs and badminton racquets for the kids. The house has 4 double rooms, one with a single bed as well, plus a single bed on the landing. It also has 2 sofa beds in the living room. You need to bring your own sheets and pillow cases or pay extra for them. The shower and double room downstairs...

"Maddie (the owner)was there if required and very helpful. Well equipped and quiet place to stay. If you have children there is a vast amount od toys and a toy shed. There are chickens at the end of the garden and love to be fed any scraps you have left. The garden is well kept and very pleasant. I give it 5 stars."

"Had a really lovely stay in your beautiful holiday home. Gorgeous and relaxing surroundings and couldn’t have asked for more in the house itself. Extremely clean, modern and fully stocked with everything we needed i really loved the little extras like the yummy cakes & drinks on arrival. "Despite the fact that the house go back to the former century it is very well maintained it has a lot of charme with a huge garden and beautifull trees. Inside the house everything is present ..just buy your fresh food and you are set . Also the location is perfect , directly near a cosy village with fresh bakeries and bouchers, only less then 20 min driving from Honfleur and Deauville."
