A dreadful error in design which could spoil an excellent hotel. The room - overlooking the Abbey - was otherwise splendid, but the toilet will put me off next time. Put them in the bathroom not next to your pillow!"

"If you like boutique hotels in a homely area with a huge number of dining options this would be a great choice. Too small hotel for my taste but the staff are wonderfully helpful and did their very best for us . The spa and treatments has the usual issue of availability so need to book as soon as you arrive. Didn’t cater for the weekend rush as completely booked out. Really recommend the area - could not be better for dinners and mooching. "

So, if there was someone in the next room, I could hear everything. They would not let me check in 2 hours early even though I had emailed them a couple of days beforehand.
