The village itself (a very short walk) is tranquil with basic amenities - Bakery, farm shop, bar, restaurant and pharmacy. The house is cosy and very well equipped for your stay. "We loved this house. To be honest the photos don’t do it justice. Very well equipped including downstairs cellar like room with extra fridge freezer, always handy. BBQ’s and sun loungers in garage and footballs and badminton racquets for the kids. The house has 4 double rooms, one with a single bed as well, plus a single bed on the landing. It also has 2 sofa beds in the living room. You need to bring your own sheets and pillow cases or pay extra for them. The shower and double room downstairs...

"A very friendly and helpful host who set us up andade us feel very welcome. The house itself is well set up and is a great space for a family. It's a town house and faces a fairly busy road, but it's close to the seafront and we weren't aware of passing traffic once inside. It was a very rainy week so we didn't use the courtyard much but it look like a pleasant space for outdoor eating. Altogether a great town house over several floors."

"2 weeks with my husband and son. The gîte is compact but with a wonderful outside space which is completely private. Great location for Fécamp itself. Walking distance of town centre, port and beach. Easy driving to lots of interesting places in the area. Sylvie was always contactable and friendly."

"Beautiful property that is spacious and in real life looks even better than the pictures. Enjoyed the sunny outdoor deck. One little comment would be the mattress; is very soft . Otherwise it’s perfect and a few minutes walk from the harbour/beach, Benedict palace , shops, churches and station. Owner Sylvie is very responsive and kind. Would highly recommend this place ! "

"Our last stopover of our holiday before getting the ferry from Calais. The area was very busy. A lot of shops, restaurants and a hyper market, handy if you need to fill up for your onward journey. Check in was easy by a very pleasant man. I had to pay for our dog, €5 per night. He changed our room to a larger one as we had the dog. Normally down graded !!! The room was comfortable, especially when we got the heating on. The bed was huge bigger than a king size and comfy. Bathroom was adequate....

Excellent value for money!

"Lovely quirky hotel! We had a nice room with table and chairs so, whilst no food was on offer, we were able to go to the nearby supermarket for supplies, and have a little picnic in the room after a long journey. The bed was comfortable and, despite our initial concerns, there was no noise from the nearby busy roads. The hotel provided an excellent breakfast included in the price. A great stay and excellent value for money!"

"Our last stopover of our holiday before getting the ferry from Calais. The area was very busy. A lot of shops, restaurants and a hyper market, handy if you need to fill up for your onward journey. Check in was easy by a very pleasant man. I had to pay for our dog, €5 per night. He changed our room to a larger one as we had the dog. Normally down graded !!! The room was comfortable, especially when we got the heating on. The bed was huge bigger than a king size and comfy. Bathroom was adequate. Huge shower cubicle, sink and toilet. Breakfast was ok you could have as much or little of what was on offer. All in all it served a purpose for 3 travellers and if needed to would return. "

"Extremely rude and unprofessional receptionist. The photos of the hotel do not describe the property correctly. While you can see the hotel building on the photos, our room was in some low rise (1 floor) building which you enter from the outside. The bathroom was renovated except for the floor tiles which have seen better days (the same tiles were in the room as well). The room had such a strong chemical smell that was there to probably mask some other smell, which unfortunately was still coming through. When I approached the receptionist and asked for a different room as I had difficulty breathing, she completely dismissed my complaints. Stay away from this place."
