"This property is just as advertised - and the refurbished interior is very much appreciated. It is updated and functional. The town is itself is lovely and pleasant - the weather consistently 10 degrees (farenheit) cooler than Paris, with everything you need a short walk or at most a short drive away. Gorgeous beach, dogs not allowed in July and August - but just a littl walk down the dunes to the less populous area - St Georges - dogs are permitted. So it's fine and doable to bring your dog....

"Excellent place for a week with the family. Facilities good. We all loved the jacuzzi. Off road parking and really convenient location for visits to the Normandy beaches, Mont St Michel, Granville etc Lovely beach and dune walks locally and reasonably close to good supermarkets. Next time we'll remember that shops have different closure times to ours. Only downside was steepness of stairs but our senior was glad of the downstairs bedoom"

"...wenn man aus der Tür tritt! Wunderbare Wege zum Strand von Hattainville und zum Cap (je 20 min Fußweg). Trotz Hochsaison war es eine ruhige Umgebung. Wenn es kühl wird, heizt der sehr gut ziehende Kaminofen schön ein (Lüfter läuft nur, wenn der Stecker eingesteckt ist). Das Dachgeschoss ist dank zwei Dachfenstern auch bei warmen Wetter sehr gut belüftbar - die Matraze dort durch die durchgehenden Federn für zwei Menschen aber etwas unruhig. Die Bettdecken waren bei unserem Besuch sehr groß...

"The house is modern and equipped with all of the essentials and much more. Beds are comfortable and clean. Beautiful garden and a fabulous sandy beach just a few minutes walk. The location is served by local shops and a bar/restaurant with a basic menu but the food is superbly cooked and is also fairly inexpensive."

"Das Haus liegt in einem schönen gepflegten Garten, man ist in 2 Minuten am Strand. Schade war, dass man über einige Mängel nicht informiert wurde. So musste man in der unteren Toilette den Haupthahn an dem Toilettenwaschbecken abdrehen, weil ansonsten der Wasserhahn in einem durch tropfte; das war den Vermietern bekannt. Die Lüftungen in den Sanitärräumen waren nicht abzustellen, am Ende des Aufenthalts wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass man in der Garage die Sicherung ausschalten müsste. Weiterhin war...

"An excellent property in a peaceful neighbourhood. As with many properties the photos dont do it justice. Short walk to the beach as this is just off Barneville Plage. Garden spacious so would be good for people with children. Only suggestion and one I would make to almost every property we have stayed at, please some more hanging space in the bedrooms and a 'shelf' in the shower to put soap, shampoo etc."
