All the rooms are on one floor, and in particular include a large conservatory which opens fully into a small patio which is ideal for eating out. The hosts are very friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. In fact my son was lent a bike to explore part of the countryside at no cost! The pool is also very inviting."

Hard to find the right building as we did not have adequate directions. The giveaway is the owner's name on the cover for the electricity meter on the wall alongside the road. "We had a very warm welcome from Marie and Claude who were happy to take time outlining what there was to see and do in the area - the markets, their recommended vineyards, and sites to visit. We had our motorbikes with us - there are many twisty routes to chose from, from hairpins to sweeping bends and all on the doorstep. The gite is tucked away from it all, up quite a steep gravel track (beware motorcyclists!) but the views are wonderful. Great indoor space and outside living area. Very well...
