"Our cottage was located about 30 minutes north of Bordeaux in a very quiet community. The owners lived right on the property and if we needed anything we’re just a knock on the door away. The unit itself reminded us of our lake cottage with cozy but somewhat outdated furniture. But that suited us just fine. Our main purpose was to have a home base to visit wine chateaus and it was perfect for that. "

Bon équipement de cuisine. 2 terrasses permettant de bien profiter de l’extérieur et du joli jardin bien entretenu ! La plage est à deux pas ! Bonne communication avec Olivier le propriétaire. En résumé , maison agréable pour passer un we entre amis ou en famille. En revanche , il faut peut être faire le point sur prêt de vélos (on a oublié d’en parler et on n’a pas pu en profiter)…"

"7 friends stayed at the chateau for the marathon du medoc. The property is very large and beautiful. Quiet and tranquil. The main house is very well appointed and recently renovated with a huge TV, pool table, lovely cooker and the bedrooms were very large and beautifully appointed. The pool was awesome, and not too cold in September. We were able to cook comfortably for 7 people with good cooking equipment. Highly recommend"

"Séjour très agréable dans cette maison entièrement rénovée. Très bien équipée et très jolie. 2 petits bémols cependant : Une salle de bain pour 10 personnes, c'est un peu juste. Heureusement qu'il y a une douche dans le cabanon à l'extérieur. Et les 4 chambres du haut ne peuvent pas s'aérer car ne s'ouvrent pas sur l'extérieur. La climatisation aide quand même à rafraîchir. "The gite was lovely and a lot bigger than we expected, but there were only 4 of us who visited. The gite had everything we needed, and the view was lovely - across the road was a vineyard, but the gite is on a road where, although cars are few and far between, they do drive far too fast. We had a lovely few days at the beginning of our holiday but on the fourth day a taxi drove into us at speed (not near the gite, on the way to Jonzac) and the hire car we were in was flipped over and ended up...

"The Villa is beautiful and in a perfect location. The Villa however does require updating and some maintenance work. We did not realise the Villa does not supply any bedding or towels, so this had to be flown in and others by car which was frustrating. It would be nice if the Villa can recommend local shops, eateries and places of interest as nothing is supplied or recommended. WiFi took a few days to be sorted and both patio and pool furniture is in need a of change. Overall, lovely Villa."
