"Booked as a stayover on fishing trip to Brittany. The town is lovely,the hotel and staff were lovely and there are several nice bars/restaurants within a short walk. There is a parking garage under the hotel too so if you have a van full of fishing gear,like us,your car or van can be parked securely. "From our arrival to our departure, Eric the host, could not have been more helpful. The property is easy to find at the end of a small lane with extensive grounds. Eric had prepared a list of recommended restaurants in the area, which is helpful. The room was quiet and spacious. Breakfast was great, with everything being supplied by local producers, which is great to see. Would stay again - thank you! "

"We spent 3 days in the "cowshed" room at Le Bois Gautier. The accommodation was very spacious with a full kitchen and a large bedroom and bathroom upstairs. We received a warm welcome from the new owner Bill who had prepared a log fire for our arrival, this made the accommodation very cosy and was a great touch. "Loved the warm welcome and generous basket from Barry when we arrived. Great accommodation. Amazing pool and gardens. Barry always there to help with any issues and even brought us extra logs for the fire on a cold evening. Great bike path along old raikway track into town (we walked it). Great galette place in town for food. Market on Friday morning. Ideal for easy drive to Fougeres, Mont Saint Michelle, Cancale. Really relaxing, lovely stay. Would recommend."
