"Bayeux is a great town and the perfect spot to explore Normandy. D-day beaches are easily accessible The property is small but comfortable. Sleeping and bathing are upstairs and the kitchen is small but we did not find it to be a problem The host, Christophe is very accommodating and helpful when needed"

"Das Haus an sich ist wie auf den Bildern zu sehen einfach eingerichtet . Das Problem war allerdings, dass es einen (im Vorfeld dem Vermieter bekannten) Mäusebefall im Haus gab. Es war Kot im Schlafzimmer und in der Küche zu finden. Außerdem wurden seitens der Vermieter bereits Schlagfallen in der Küche aufgestellt. Nach Ansprache des Problems wurde zusätzlich neben dem Bett Mäusegift deponiert. Es gab keine Alternative Unterkunft und seitens FEWO Direkt waren wir auch alleine gelassen. Aus...

"The Churchill Hotel looks like it is from another era, but updates on the property show that it is being cared for with modern conveniences being added. The staff is willing to do anything to make your stay special and perfect. (Try coming in the middle of a festival with all kinds of streets closed, GPS not working, and someone coming with you to get you safely to a parking space!). Directions to whatever are never difficult for them and you are generally within easy walking distance to the major attractions of Bayeux and all the bus tours. The breakfast is perfect. We couldn't ask for more."

"Great stay for 4 nights in Normandy after having arrived on the ferry from Portsmouth. Hotel was ideally located for Arromanches, a nice seaside town famous for being the centre of the D-Day landings by the British on Sword beach and the location of the Mulberry B harbour which still dominates the sea horizon. The hotel was just a five-minute walk into the centre of town and the beach. Rooms were clean and modern, but a bit warm as there was no air conditioning – the hotel gave us a tower fan. Breakfast was good, but there was no room service or evening meals available – which was not a problem as there are plenty of restaurants in Arromanches. The hotel staff were very helpful during our stay, helping with car hire and a tour we booked. Would return based on the location and friendliness of the staff."
