"This very clean and comfortable cottage is in the country a short drive from Sainte Emilion. Quiet, pastoral setting. It was out base for drives in the area and for a relaxing time at the end of the day. We opted for the breakfast which was very reasonable and delish - yougurt, fruit, pastries, juice and coffee. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. The furnishings were modern and comfortable. Everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay."

They booked a tour for me and my husband to the underground church (I highly recommend going there) and answered any questions we had. "We stopped over for one night and chose the property for its location in the vines, pool and the fact that it had a restaurant. The decor is dated but the rooms are spacious and comfy. The pool is compact and far too cold for anything more than a quick dip which was disappointing. The restaurant was excellent and surprisingly buzzy. Would recommend for a short stay. "

Pointing this out to the owner he took great offence rather than accepting a little feedback. "Beautiful room. Outstanding hospitality from the owner host & hostess. Our room was immaculate, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with fresh coffee, juice, croissants, cheese & bread. It’s also an easy 10 minute drive through the vineyards to St. Emilion.
