"Booked this as a stopover on the way back to UK from Italy and boy did we fall lucky. We stayed in a lodge in the grounds and it was comfortable, clean and larger than we expected. However the highlight of our trip was the main building where there is a lovely bar with great staff and the outstanding restaurant. "Our stay at Maison de Charme au Pied de la Cathedrale was fabulous. We were there for the month of October 2024. The location is superb with the cathedral being just a half block away. Plus, every bakery, butcher, seafood shop, grocery store, wine shop, clothing store, bar and restaurant you could imagine is no more than 3 blocks away, We walked everywhere.
