Great for a big family
13 of us stayed in this lovely big farmhouse and enjoyed the abundant space and amenities. The pool and surrounding area is excellent and safely lockable when not in use so good if you have young children. The kitchen is well appointed and the rooms very comfortable to sleep in, even without air conditioning. The property is remote so a car is an essential, though supermarkets are only ten minutes drive. Tim was very friendly and available, but gave us space to enjoy the property as our own home for the duration of the stay which was appreciated.

50th birthday fun
We travelled as nine friends to celebrate my 50th birthday and fell in love with Le Pre and the village. The property had everything we needed for a wonderful week in the sun. We enjoyed the pool (which is a sun trap) and made full use of the equipped kitchen to cater for all of us for the week. The local bar was a real treasure and only a few steps from the property. We enjoyed BBQs and snooker, table tennis and just generally making wonderful memories.

We had a really lovely two week stay at the property with extended family and thoroughly enjoyed the house and exploring the surrounding area. There were several areas of cleaning and maintenance the property would significantly benefit from which we are going to address with the owner on private feedback as it would be unfair for a public review.

Large country property ideal for multi generational fun and family reunions
Nestled in picturesque Perigourdine countryside, Le Pré comprises three nearly independent cottages enclosing a secure, sun kissed courtyard, with a large field behind the accommodation, off road parking for several cars, and an enclosed and private swimming pool. Double height living room with full size billiards table, table tennis outside and table football complete the facilities. Tim and Claudia are attentive and good communicators. Strongly recommended.

Quiet village location, ideally placed for west Perigord
Plenty of space for family of 10. Well equipped, lovely pool area, lots of places to either mix together or have your own space. Off road parking for 3/4 cars inside gates. Loved the atmosphere of this property. Centrally based between Bergerac & Perigueux. Only 10/15 mins drive to hypermarket/bakery. Great choice of restaurants locally too. Recommend l'Petite Auberge near Vergt for authentic french lunch and Le Rossignol, both within 10 mins drive.

An absolute gem!
Delightful hosts, super quick to respond to our questions. Nothing was too much trouble for them! A lovingly restored house which gave our party of 12 enough space to spread out while still being together as a family, which was vital to us. The house easily accommodated us all with room to spare and, even more, had a large oven with very large cooking pots , plenty of fridge and freezer space. The large grounds allowed the more energetic of us to explore and the swimming pool was wonderful with plenty of loungers. Tim kept the pool super clean and it was great to bump into him at times to pick his brains on the surrounding area. We would highly recommend this beautiful home, situated in a very quiet rural area but close enough to places of interest and the all important boulangerie for those breakfast croissants! Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine en famille. La maison est spacieuse et de nombreux espaces permettent de ne pas être les uns sur les autres. Nous étions 12 plus 2 bébés. La piscine est parfaite avec de nombreux transats. Les propriétaires sont très arrangeants et très discrets.

Great accommodation for two families.
We had a great week with two families in the house. It is ideal for that. The house has nice places for common areas but you also have your own place to sleep and use a bathroom as a family. Swimming pool is ideal. Large and clean. Owner was also very hospitable. It iwas a warm week so we could see less of the surroundings.

Belles vacances grâce au soleil
Nous étions 12 personnes de la même famille (2 grand-parents, 4 jeunes adultes et 2 de leurs conjoints et 4 petits-enfants). La maison est spacieuse mais pas du tout luxueuse. Une très belle piscine bien sécurisée avec les transats en nombre suffisant. Le BBQ est présent mais il n'est pas idéalement positionné. La cuisine n'est pas super bien équipée : Frigo-table trop petit et qui surgèle les aliments, pas de couvercle pour les casseroles, ...Chacun pouvait avoir ses espaces sans ennuyer les autres, le wifi n'est pas présent partout dans la maison, les lits sont confortables. Nous n'avons pas eu de contact avec le propriétaire à part un bref passage pour nettoyer la piscine, pas de livret sur la région, ... la boulangerie et les magasins pour faire les courses se trouvent à plus de 10 minutes en voiture. Région très calme sans touriste. Donc, belles vacances car le soleil était au RDV et que nous étions heureux de nous retrouver en famille

Merveilleux séjour
Nous avons passé une semaine trop courte dans cette vaste et belle maison . Le beau temps nous a permis de profiter au maximum de la piscine et du patio pour le dîner. Nous connaissions la partie du Périgord plus proche de Sarlat et cette fois nous avons découvert Périgueux ainsi que Brantome.

Super gîte vraiment confortable. Les pièces sont bien grandes et les lits géniaux!! Nous étions 2 familles et c'était très agréable. Super piscine, jeux ext (ping pong, petanque) et jardin vraiment top. Le patio intérieur est très très agréable pour les soirées d'été !
