"Die FeWo liegt sehr ruhig in dem kleinen Örtchen Goustranville, im Weiler Hameau de St. Clair, mittig in der Küstenregion der Normandie. Zur Autobahn sind es nur fünf Minuten, um Ziele wie Rouen (80 km), Mont St.Michel (150) oder – wenn man will – Paris (200) zu erreichen. Lokale Attraktionen wie die faszinierenden kleinen Örtchen Beuvron-en-Auge und Cambremer oder auch der Strand sind nah dabei. Auch Bayeux und die Landungsstrände sind recht gut zu erreichen Die FeWo hat alles was man braucht...

"Nous avons passés noël dans cette maison cheminée qui ne fonctionne pas un fond d’allumé feu de l’humidité dans les chambres du bas de la nourriture qui reste dans le frigo vaisselle sale et des serviettes déjà utilisées et les brosses à dent des autres personnes nous avons eut très froid et forte odeur d’humidité .Cela ne reflète pas l’annonce"

In the heatwave we managed to keep cool enough by arranging air to come in through open windows, but keeping shutters almost closed. "The location is on the edge of a quiet village and with only subtle sounds of frogs from the pond and whinnies from the horse it was bliss. This was our 2nd stay and would love to come back again. Transport is required to access local shops but the ride out is so lovely it isnt a worry. We stayed for the 80th anniversary of D-Day and found it a good base to stay for the events.
