"The stay was pleasant but we were unlucky as room 10 is noisy as it was above the door to the swimming pool which shut with a large thud - so an afternoon nap was not possible. The rest of the stay was excellent with dinner being a highlight with the fabulous Clement who is the absolute the best in the world for cooking a Crêpes Suzette in front of the table - very very special and we’ve had many around the world!!!! "The hotel is extremely well located within the historic centre of Laon. We have stayed there on four separate occasions as we travel through France to or from the Channel Tunnel. The hotel itself is full of historic interest with a somewhat quirky charm.
