"My husband and I stayed for 3 weeks just enjoying the sun and the silence. Amazingly hot even in September!! The villa is certainly peaceful but all is on hand nearby for everyday living. The fact there was no WiFi (which is not Alains fault) did cause us problems and we wish we had been warned before we left so we could have compensated. "This villa is in a quiet corner of the village of Lavilledieu, yet is convenient for all the Ardeche has to offer. All the rooms are on one floor, and in particular include a large conservatory which opens fully into a small patio which is ideal for eating out. The hosts are very friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. In fact my son was lent a bike to explore part of the countryside at no cost! The pool is also very inviting."
