"Exactly what you would expect from the description. The owner can't help enough and at the same time leaves you to enjoy your break. While the bed does say futon it does have a very comfortable memory foam mattress and we slept very well often surprised by just how late we were waking up, often close to 10 hours sleep. Owner lives in part of house next door but he keeps himself to himself and left us to it so it isn't an issue. Great location to discover places in the area. "The house is a large, beautiful gite with everything we required for our stay; good facilities, clean and a well maintained pool on a daily basis. The property is situated on a hill side allowing for unspoilt scenery in the sunshine. The owners were incredibly helpful, had very speedy responses and allowed us to book on the day! "We had a very pleasant stay at this quirky octagonal cottage. It is in a little hamlet up a long lane so was very quiet. The owners house was closer than it seems in the photos but she left us to ourselves unless we needed something.
