"We thoroughly recommend La Taillade, having just spent a most enjoyable fortnight there. "Enjoyed our few weeks here in May/June. Lovely quiet setting. Pool was a godsend in warm weather! House nice and cool inside for our two dogs."

"Sadly the pool was is need of substantial repair. The cracked slabs and crumbling cement around the pool was dangerous for bare feet and attracted wasps to nest. Not ideal for young children and babies. There was a constant bad smell in the kitchen due to drainage problems in the area of the sink. The setting is idyllic and very peaceful in amongst the forest but we got bitten alive with all the woodland mosquitoes."
