"Recks is managed by the same family and they do it all... the cuisine is excellent, the hotel is well appointed and the property is beautiful. Everyone was super helpful and super nice. Although the hotel is old, the rooms are really large and pretty and clean, and everything works well. Spring was blooming at the hotel gardens and it was quite a sight... highly reccomend. "

"There was nothing to dislike here. Everything was perfect. We decided we needed to walk so we went about a block where my husband’s favorite, sheinsoxen, was on the menu. This hotel is on the wine route in the Alsace region. A beautiful part of France that I would highly recommend giving it a day to visit the beautiful villages. The countryside is lovely too."

"Our stay was wonderful. We were lucky that it was warm enough to get into the lake. But even when it got a bit chilly, we enjoyed ourselves in the spa area. And let me tell you this, I've never been in such a charming sauna before. It is partially underwater. When it was windy on the lake, you could see the waves hitting the windows of the sauna in a hypnotic rhythm. The service is really good and friendly. "Beautiful historic hotel located right on the Rhine river and on the edge of the gorgeous old town of Stein am Rhine. The town was quaint and lovely. The room was modern and comfortable with amazing views of the river. Restaurants walkable. But the most amazing thing about this stay was the staff. So pleasant and kind. They came in special in the morning to make us breakfast and it was fantastic! I can’t wait to come back here. If you get the chance definitely stay here "
