"We had a good stay, it was quiet and relaxing. There were a couple of things damaged from the previous tenant which wasn't a great impression. The lock on the door broke which meant extra vigilance was needed to avoid getting locked in or out, and the pool was not clear which we pointed out within 5 minutes of our arrival, Claire was responsive but it still took 3 days until the pool guy put something in the pool specifically to clear it. I just put it down to bad luck but I was on holiday...

"Cesar the owner was brilliant from first point of call then it all went down hill kitchen sink blocked took 2 days to sort it out then the support in window fell out wasn’t secured properly jacuzzi in the bathroom wasn’t working Anita the host sent somebody round with keys which kept us waiting outside for 30 mins then turned up drunk the property was dirty inside We ended up coming home early as we was fed up with the issues"

"We had a lovely week at Casa Kathleen. The view is fabulous, as is the outside terrace and pool. The villa' s living area is large, comfortable and airy. Everything worked and was well maintained. The villa is located close to beaches, shopping and Denia but you will need a car! We'll definitely return."

"There were so many places for the various members of the family to relax in, and also plenty of large places for us all to gather together in. The covered pool was fabulous. "A family of seven found the villa to be well located for the village and surrounding area. Beaches within 20-30 minutes drive. Great local vineyard and market. The local petrol station had most food essentials and the village restaurants were lovely. AC in the bedrooms was most welcome. A trip up the viewing tower on a Saturday morning was woth the effort."

"A lady called Anna met us at the property. Very rude. We had asked owner to check in early due to flight but message hadn’t been passed on to her. She kept stomping past us as we sat outside waiting for her to put bedding in etc. When we asked if she could speak English to us she shouted NO. So that was our welcome. Only one set of bedding for each bed. Good job we only used 2 beds. No sun at all in house , very cold as it was September to mid November so heating had to go on even though warm...

"This is a beautiful villa for a holiday, located in a peaceful hillside location. Listen to the pine trees and birdsong in the early morning sunshine while you take your coffee on the terrace by the pool. It’s a great location as a base to travel to all the many towns and villages around Benidoleig. Lots of nice hikes nearby. Super place to relax and chill with all the comforts of home. Very spacious for a family group."

"This property has everything you need for a great vacation. We were 5 adults and 2 kids who had a great time in this house. We had som tours in the area but mostly the kids wanted to be at the pool. The area is quite apart from barking dogs, but that’s a common problem throughout Spain. We can recommend this house for families."

"Nice quiet comfy house with a beachside location which was ideal for a self-catering stay with our dog. You can walk for miles and the whole length of the beach is dog friendly. "Villa Paloma is an excellent place to stay and I would highly recommend it. The pool in particular is wonderful and has spectacular views over the lemon groves below. The villa is situated close to amenities which are only a short drive away. The kitchen is well stocked and the furnishings are tasteful and clean. We had a fanatically relaxing week at the villa and would not hesitate to recommend it to others"
