Great property. Everything new and clean. Nice strong shower and staff very helpful. Due to low season, not a lot of places open in area so you need a car to see anything.

The hotel staff are very helpful and pleasant. The hotel is quite close to train station, the area is dirty and there are some homeless people around. We were not bothered from anyone during our stay. Just like any city you need to be smart and observant of your surroundings. The hotel has a great rooftop terrace that over looks the city. Incredible panoramic view. Overall this was a great hotel with very easy access to train station.

"I would definitely stay at Hotel Montestella again. It is centrally located in Salerno in that if you walk in one direction, you reach the "Old town" with the restaurants and shops, Cathedral and beach part in 10-15 minutes and if you walk in the other direction, you reach the train station in 8 ..."
