"The owner was nice but the accommodation was not clean enough and offered no privacy - with the large windows looking on to the owners house and compound where the their American Pit Bull Terrier has free range. Three nights booked but we arrived late and left early the next day."

"Ginette and Jean-Jacques could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. The interior of the house is both practical and charming. The exterior and surrounding grounds of the house were enchanting. Each time we went away for a day to do some sight-seeing - on our return, seeing the house always made us smile. In short - if you don't like this house - there is probably something wrong with you. Thank you so much Ginette and Jean-Jacques and, please God, we will see you soon again"

"The property was lovely, very quiet and stunning views. Jean - Pierre and Nadine were very helpful. Fresh bread and croissants were available daily and were very nice. Pool and hot tub were very welcome after a hard day's exploring the Peri- Nord. The Gite was excellent for people with a disability, very accessible with wide corridor and wide doorways. In all I would fully recommend this Gite for a stay and would love to return in the future."

"We had a fantastic week staying in a traditional house, renovated to a high standard and equipped with all mod cons. Easy access by car to Limoges. This is a lovely part of France for touring and taking in the gorgeous countryside."

The full house is not together but in 2 different section bit detached to each other. This means that everyone cannot stay together in the same house, which was not expected by us and was not even clear in the description of the property.2. The property is in middle of nowhere. "There is no question about this small resort it is absolutely astonishing with the surrounding scenery. It just stunning! Beautiful lake and surrounding area with plenty of other breathtaking places to visit. However the lodge we had did have a problem with hot water when we first arrived but was quickly resolved. The main issue was our cabin ( it had extremely creaky floors!) this wasn’t a problem in itself. However if you had to get up during the night you’d wake up the other people you are staying with. Additionally communication with staff was difficult due to the language barrier when trying to sort problems out with the staff however they were very patient and polite. They had plenty of activities to do on site. One thing I would offer that’s not provided is basic amenities such as tea and coffee especially if you’ve travelled a long way to the site (even if you paid extra for it) otherwise very clean and tidy accommodation and again absolutely breathtakingly beautiful! "
