Friends and I stayed at RIU MoBay to have fun and relax. This resort had the BEST entertainment team I've ever seen. I reserved roundtrip airport transfer prior, but if you don't there are taxis outside the airport (15m ride), and RIU drivers on the property (Owen was great). Juan welcomed us and checked us in smoothly. Loved the 24hr sports bar with snacks & drinks.
PROS:
-Entertainment (Rollie, TT, Mosquito, slim guy with the fan).
-Drinks, drinks, & more drinks (Nikesha was our big sis).
-There was always food available. Jamaican food like jerk chicken, salad, veggies and rice near the pool/beach.
- The main dining hall/buffet had sections of Jamaican food (AMAZING) and other foods like pasta, American burgers, pizza, fruits dessert, etc. Same categories for breakfast. Samantha was a doll during lunch! I tried looking for her everyday. Everyone was nice!
-KFC, Burger King & a small mall was a 5-7 min walk.
-There are 4 pools, 3 are always chill with lots of seats, and space to swim. Choose these to relax.
-Large comfy beds/robes. Nice bathrooms.
-Complimentary minibar in room.
CONS:
-No ATM on the property. You have to walk about 5 mins outside the property to the bank/teller. Easy walk, but not always convenient.
-The Swim-up bar gets ridiculously overcrowded during the pool parties. Luckily, there's a 2nd bar. If you come for the parties then this is where you'll be. The Friday there felt & looked like a college Spring Break. I enjoyed watching.

Fantastic property, but we had a few issues that needed to be dealt with. Firstly, our rooms had a smell of mold/mildew. We were initially told that the resort was full but after being adamant about the issue as being a health issue, a room opened up suddenly.
Once we switched rooms things were good.
The staff in general were fantastic and the food was good.
