The house was spacious, well supplied with all that we needed for a comfortable stay. It was very clean, quiet, beds comfortable, and we appreciated the ambience of the forest. Turning in the driveway was a bit of a challenge with the kayaks on the cars, but a small thing in the end. There were four of us, but this cottage would be good for more, and prepared for young children too. The wood burning stove was cozy to light after a cold day kayaking. We enjoyed our stay.

Lovely cottage in great area

Really helpful hosts, very comfortable house with a great balcony. Easily accessible to other parts of the island. Highly recommend and would come back!

Lovely area

It was a great cabin for a family with lots of space for everyone. Not shorefront but we could see the ocean through the trees from the deck. Nice and close to town. The driveway was a bit challenging as there's not a lot of room to maneuver and it was a rainy week so quite mucky.

Great clean place!

Wonderful stay. Very much enjoyed our short weekend trip to Saltspring. Only item I would mention is the top of driveway is a little steep for 2WD vehicles! But overall, 5/5 would recommend.

An amazing stay at a tranquil location!

We definitely enjoyed our stay at this property. Everything was as advertised and the place was a wonderful getaway for our family! This location was extremely clean and the small touches of having toys for the kids and board games for everyone to enjoy was a great touch. We had a couple of questions during the stay and the host was really quick to respond. Highly recommend this place and we will definitely try to stay here again when we return!

Stay was good but check in instructions were unclear.

The place was very clean. The bathroom was gorgeous! We didn't get clear check in instructions but perhaps that was VRBOs fault. The host made an effort to follow up once we were checked in to make sure everything was good!

Sophia had a toys, a high chair, and pack and play for our little one. Lots of space for her to run around as well. Would recommend for families and babies.

Charming

Stayed here with my husband and family for a week in April 2025. The house was clean and the view was outstanding from the back deck. Unfortunately, due to the weather not fully coopering, we weren't able tp spend much time outside but can only imagine that during the warmer months, I wouldn't want to come inside. Rooms are very comfortable but the kitchen cabinetry is in need of repairs. The couch was not comfortable at all. The driveways could use more lighting as when we returned after sunset, it was difficult due to the hairpin turn.The downstairs and bathrooms appear to be newly renovated and the the house was well stocked with supplies such as coffee, toiletries and cleaning supplies. We plan to be returning customers in the not too distant future.

Lovely visit

We had a small gathering to celebrate my birthday. Host was super responsive and flexible with our requests. Location is decent and only a 10 min drive to major attractions (goat cheese farm, beaches, main town area). We had very minor negatives: - the toilet was stained. It uses a septic system so not sure if that's normal but it was a bit off-putting - central couch area isn't that comfortable and not quite big enough for a party of 6 (couch could definitely use an upgrade as it was a tad lumpy). - the dishwasher could be improved as it's small and dishes didn't always come out clean. The deck would be gorgeous in warmer weather (we couldn't enjoy it as much due to the colder weather) as it's a big space that can entertain many. There was also a fire pit out there and a hot tub in the back but neither of them were operational which is fine as it wasn't advertised (but seeing them there was very tantalising). I would definitely consider coming back as we loved exploring Salt Spring and we were super thankful to our considerate hosts.

Forest oasis

A group of 5 of us stayed at this beautiful cabin for a long weekend. There was plenty of space for each of us to have our own bed and the 2 showers & provided towels was nice. Kitchen had essentials, some tea, oil, instant coffee and some leftover condiments in the fridge. The patio has a lovely view in the trees but would love to see more comfortable outdoor furniture there for lounging. Would also love to see a bigger couch or more sofas by the tv to fit a big group. It was about a 10 min drive into town. Initial instructions for check in weren’t provided but when we messaged the host, they sent them over right away. A guide book or sheet of paper would’ve been helpful to understand how to connect to wifi, use of the mini dishwasher, and other tips like restaurants etc. Host was available quickly over messenger to answer questions. Would stay here again :) could easily fit 6 couples!
