"There were 6 of us, 4 adults and 2 children, 10 and under. Three bedrooms had queen sized beds and the 4th, 2 twin beds, which was perfect for the boys. The house was clean, well equipped...it was in need of an update...paint, some minor repairs...none of which affected our stay. The location was great for us, a safe and quiet neighborhood."

"My sisters and I gather annually without our spouses/kids for a girls weekend. We love the northern neck (it's relatively equal distance for all of us) and this house was amazing. Even though it was February and we couldn't enjoy the water and pool, the views were incredible. The house was exactly as described, communications with the host were stellar, the house was amazingly clean, the beds were super comfy and the location to great northern neck restaurants and fun shops was perfect. "The house is lovely and the view of the river is gorgeous - especially the sunsets. There are huge windows looking out into the the trees and the river. There was plenty of space for all 8 of us. The kitchen has everything you would need - even popover pans! The owners were wonderful: when the kitchen faucet broke, they fixed it immediately.The private beach is lovely too - although we couldn't really use it that much given it was December. It would be great to come back in the summer."
