"We stayed in many hotels during our 3 wk stay in Spain. This is the only property that i want to take the time to review. This beautiful historic hotel is only eclipsed by the overwhelming beautiful medieval town that it's situated in. I felt transported back in time. The staff was very attentive and helpful. I felt as though i was staying at a relative's home. The rooms are updated and comfortable. The breakfast must be on the agenda. You will not be disappointed. "

"Friendly introduction and service was excellent for the 3 nights. Well located near ciudad central. Great elevator, be sure to use it. Room "edelweiss" was large, two sofa chairs, large windows for ventilation, even in summer. Breakfast was "Spain". Again, service was great, rates were more than reasonable."

"This is a nice hotel that is a 5 minute walk to the old city. We paid extra for a room with a kitchenette which was convenient for keeping our breakfast things, making coffee and keeping our beers cold. There is a grocery store on the same road as the hotel, on the way to the old city. There is also free parking in a lot 2 blocks behind the hotel. It backs onto the castle grounds. "Hotel overlooks a lovely castle and Jesuit seminary. Only one other hotel/hostel in the area with nothing else around apart from a religious souvenir shop. Hotel very much in need of up-dating but staff very friendly. We were offered a double room but the twin was bigger if very out-dated. Also no sound-proofing between rooms and en-suites, which definitely need up-dating."
