"Terrible experience, driving deep into nowhere, very narrow half made up road, soi dogs everywhere, group of local men drinking alcohol in the parking area. Not a safe place. Do what we did, and drive away."
"Owner and her family and staff were awesome. So nice and took great care of us and made great food! Cowboy room was really fun and unlike any where else I’ve ever stayed in Thailand. Great atmosphere, river view in the morning. Easy parking next door at the temple. "
"Arrived hot and dirty after long ride. No water in the room. Can't buy a beer in the restaurant or even at the 7-eleven in the adjacent shopping area. Restaurant closes 7:30. If you want a drink you need to buy it at the steakhouse at the other side of the property and bring it in."
"Le personnel est extraordinaire, la chambre est d'une belle grandeur, la climatisation fonctionne très bien, la grande terrasse est vraiment agréable.
L'eau de la piscine n'est pas belle. L'hôtel est à une bonne distance de la ville."
"Pleasant and friendly place 10-15 mins from town. Need car or motorcycle. Sweet little cabins. Clean. Bed exceptionally hard (even by Thai standard). Found a nice beee garden/restaurant 5 minutes drive away."
"These are basic accommodations but they are priced as such. They were comfortable. They are well located if you are interested in the Wats of Ayutthaya. Staff was friendly. Parking available. Overall this is a great option for those who want to be budget minded and want to be in the heart of historic Ayutthaya. "
"We stayed one night at Roymen, wish we had more time to spend here. This is a beautiful property, very quiet and tranquil. The owner was so friendly, hospitable and accommodating, arranged a tuk tuk for us in no time! She tried helping me with a train ticket issue I was having. She provided us with a coffee and light snack to choose from for breakfast which was delicious. The air conditioning and water pressure was great. Would highly recommend this place. "
"A special opportunity to stay in a beautiful teak river house in a residential area. The staff are lovely and willing to arrange all kind of supports for a visit to Ayutthaya’s historic sites. "
"I had an unexpected weekend off and decided to come to Ayutthaya for the weekend. Most of the hotels were sold out, but this was still available. I’m so glad it was. The owners were so gracious and welcoming, helped me plan my day, and helped make all the necessary arrangements. Truly Thai hospitality at its best. I can’t thank them enough. "
"Terrific location, with free bikes to explore the temples and ruins. Delicious Western or Thai breakfast.
But, most of all, the service was excellent and very friendly."
"Apparently this is one of the 'best' hotels in Ayutthaya so you have to take the good with the inconvenient. Designed as a 'boutique' hotel - emphasis seems to be on design over guest experience. The main passage is dramatic and impressive - leading to lots of halls with stairs to rooms on the upper levels. Some of the best upper rooms have very steep, very high spiral staircases - so be aware if you have any limitations. We had a terrace room on the main lever, but there were hard to see...

"This place is a must if you’re in the area.
Service was white glove top-notch, they upgraded me even tho this was not a VIP access hotel from Expedia.
The room was super spacious, luxury apartment style, everything is there for your needs.
Room service is a tad expensive, but a small nag considering the overall experience was enjoyable.
WiFi is good.
Will 100% stay again without hesitation.

"Very traditional, beautifully preserved wooden building, with all the charm you need. Shared living room upstairs with the open view on the river, couple of tables and comfortable seats. Downstairs patio going straight onto the river, where you can have morning drink, observing boats going around.
Shared bathrooms weren't a problem, as there is not too many rooms.
Boat away from the city centre and short walk to the train station."
