Very private spacious 1 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment with full kitchen 2 blocks from the beach, restaurants and bars of Playa Samara . Very close to the International language school. Also, has an outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach. Very secure with locked gate access to apartment.
Air conditioning available. Large eastern king bed. Wireless internet access.
Easy access to 2 convenience markets. Most all of the good restaurants are within walking distance. If you like easy access to everything Samara has to offer but but also private and secure, this is the place for you!

Bedroom, Kitchen and Patio - Just Perfect
This was our second stay. It was the perfect get a way for winter weary travelers. While it is right in town, close to everything, it is off the main drag, making it quiet and peaceful. It is a very comfortable space, with a large bed, well equipped kitchen and a patio just perfect for morning coffee or an afternoon drink.

Great spot two blocks from the beach, grocery store two doors down. The only thing they need to improve on is the condition of the shower, pretty beat up but works. Kitchen is fully stocked. The noise of Main Street with motor cycles and quads racing by is a problem the town needs to fix, but we enjoyed our stay. Would stay again.

I failed to install Whatsapp and that made it a little more difficult to communicate and collect the keys. There was a short wait outside the gate of a cute, well appointed apartment. One photo in the posting show the beach ad if it is accessible from the apartment. I was disappointed but the beach is still quite near. Loved the tile work in the kitchen and bathroom. The gardener, Mingo, was super helpful.

A little piece of paradise
We wanted to stay in Samara to experience the Costa Tica beach life. Staying at Dave & Conne’s place was perfect! The apartment is at the quieter end of the town, but still has the beach town feel. The apartment itself is very homey, great for a couple looking to have some of the comforts of home… small kitchen for home meals, and a cute outside area to hang out in. The apartment was very clean & had everything we could have needed. It’s a short walk to the beach, restaurants & shopping. Dave & Conne we’re super friendly & wonderful hosts! Thanks for the margaritas & great conversation! When we find ourselves coming to Samara again we will certainly stay here again.

Beautiful apartment not far from the beach
The apartment has a lot of character -- but we were a bit disappointed with the location. It is effectively just off the main street through town (which must be crossed to access the beach), and next to a construction site. There are few windows and little natural light, so we weren't inclined to be indoors and the outdoor sitting area was pretty limited. On the other hand, Leonardo could not have been more helpful, and the apartment was very well set up with supplies and kitchen equipment.

This was our first stay in Samara and we were looking for a place walkable to the beach and restaurants or other amenities such as grocery stores. The location was terrific: near everything you might want but just far enough off the main street to be quiet enough that you can get a good night's sleep after a day of exploring. The apartment itself was also perfect for the two of us. Nice kitchen set-up though we needed help figuring out the stove. The bed was comfortable and the shower hot. Can't say enough about Leo at Samara Rentals who manages the property. Responded quickly to messages, helped to arrange transportation, and ran over to help with a couple of things at the apartment within minutes. A great experience overall, especially after a long first day of travel. No question we would stay here again. Thanks for making this a great trip!

Great stay
Great location for roaming Samara and walking to the beach each day. Near two grocery stores. The bed was comfortable and the a/c was nice at night to sleep. Although the rental is located in a building which houses a business that faces a busy street, it was actually fairly quiet at night after the surrounding businesses closed for the day. The small patio area was nice for drinking coffee in the morning. We had no issues with the internet. A full-size coffee pot would be a nice addition and while there was a small tv in the bedroom, it wasn't hooked up. We have traveled to the area before and are aware of creepy crawly critters but this time there did seem to be an inordinate amount of worm-type activity which required an extra can of bug spray. We stayed for a week and enjoyed it. If we were staying longer, which we may do next time, we would want a little more space. A gardener came by everyday and he was such a nice guy! Lovely overall and would recommend it!
