Perfect Location, Great Stay in San Antonio!
Communication with Stephanie and Joe was unmatched, they got back to me immediately. We attended a concert at the Alamodome, and didn't have to deal with the chaos of traffic and ubers, we could walk there and got some dinner on the way. Definitely a great place to stay to explore San Antonio.

Loved where we stayed! The room was very clean and comfortable! We had a little trouble getting in (but totally our fault) called our host and they came over within 5 minutes to help us get in. Highly recommended booking this unit. We chose to walk to the attractions and take a Uber back. The cost of an Uber one way is cheaper than paying to park.

Nice little flat in a nice neighbourhood
The apartment is clean and in a great neighbourhood in San Antonio’s Southtown / King William district. There are a lot of bars and restaurants available to reach by foot (for example the Guenther house with amazing breakfast just a 5 min walk away). Check in was super easy and if there were any questions we could text the owners and get a super fast reply. The kitchen in the apartment has all supplies needed for a 2-week stay and there are extra blankets and a washer / dryer room in the building. Bathroom was clean and nice, only the water pressure was a little low. Generally we had a great stay and would definitely come back!

Great Experience!

This property was in a great location easily walkable to lots of food and bars. It was very clean and the description matched what I expected. I gave the rating a 4 only because the bathroom water pressure was very poor and the hot water heater needed turned up. The shower didn’t get very hot at all. Otherwise it’s a very quiet nice condo to stay in.

Just the right amount of space for two in beautiful historic neighborhood
We visited San Antonio for a family reunion at another location and wanted a nice, quiet space just for me and my husband for before and after the festivities. This studio was the perfect amount of space for the two of us, during our 4 night stay. Beautiful, quiet, safe neighborhood with close walking vicinity to all of the popular tourist attractions, if not a short 5-10 minute drive at most. Clean interior with thoughtful touches like shampoo, conditioner, bugspray, etc. It was in the mid to high 90's during our stay and the A/C worked perfectly.

Was moved to another location because of double booking. The new place was nice but it was right next to a giant air conditioning unit as loud as a jet engine. I had to sleep in the living room with ear plug’s.

Great Location
Joe was very easy to contact which I appreciated when the front gate code didn't work! He was very nice. We loved the apartment location, and walked everywhere. We ate at delicious restaurants within walking distance for brunch every day: CommonWealth CoffeeHouse & Bakery, The Menger Hotel (right next to the Alamo and Riverwalk), and The Guenther House. Best of all was the Bar Loretta, located literally around the corner, where we ate every single night! The first night we were just looking online for somewhere close to go and discovered that they are busy every night of the week, so although the host graciously seated us, we made reservations for the following nights and highly recommend doing this. One of the nights the coaching staff of the San Antonio Spurs came in after a game, so the locals love this place too! The building is on the edge of one of the oldest neighborhoods in SA, King William Historic District and we thoroughly enjoyed taking an early evening stroll through this area. It is several blocks of large homes built in the 1800's and each one is a different architectural style. We discovered a museum only 2 blocks away in one of these homes called Villa Finale and recommend it to history buffs. Also, the apartment building is only 3 blocks from the Riverwalk, so some days we walked downtown via that quiet pathway and other days we walked on the main streets. As far as the apartment, I have a couple of recommendations for the owners: please add some hangers in the closet as we had brought shirts that should've been hung up, please add a blanket or light quilt as we were cold every night even with the heater on, and make sure the very informative manual you created is placed where renters can see it immediately such as the coffee table. It was discovered under some magazines on the table next to the bed, near the end of our stay! The water pressure was very low and it took some time to get hot water, but when we did it was good & hot! (This may have been resolved after we left because we got a notice that the water in the building would be turned off for some work.) Lastly, keep in mind that this is an apartment in an older building. We heard what seems to be a young child above but it wasn't until mid-morning so was not an issue. The neighborhood was completely quiet at night. We had a wonderful time in SA and the affordability of this apartment added to our enjoyment.

Quiet and Convenient Location
This cozy little studio was very quiet and reasonably priced, and it's located in a lovely neighborhood that is conveniently located to the Riverwalk, the Alamo, etc. The check-in process was easy, and the hosts were very responsive to questions. While we didn't need it, it was nice to know that we had access to the laundry area as well.

SOUTHTOWN SAN ANTONIO
Thoroughly enjoyed our two day stay at Joe and Stephanie's efficiency unit in the gorgeous and peaceful Southtown neighborhood in San Antonio!! The unit was spotlessly maintained and very convenient to the downtown area and a variety of restaurants right in the area. We would definitely opt to stay again on any return trip to the San Antonio area!!
