"I'll start by saying that depending on what you're looking for and how you adjust to things will determine how you feel about this place. The property is not new so if you're looking for a contemporary "shiny" and "fancy" vacation home, this isn't for you. There is a smell but I believe Jose gives fair warning in the property summary. "The apartment was an affordable place to stay, and the other tenants were friendly and helpful. The bed could have been more comfortable, but the only major complaint was the fighting dogs at the house behind the building. They barked and yelped and snarled all day and night. This was not the fault of the owner of this property, though. Just made it very difficult to sleep during our stay. I mesaged the owner and have not yet received a response."

"We stayed with 15 people and never felt crowded, even when we all shared breakfast on the red house balcony. We loved the location. Everyone in Guayama was super friendly. The houses were nice—everything worked. I misunderstood the listing to mean each bedroom has a private bathroom, but only one per house does. The pool was fantastic. The property manager was fantastic. Great place. Great stay."
