"For our second week in Costa Rica, we chose this home in Atenas. The photos do not do it justice- it is such a wonderful and relaxing retreat. The private pool and outdoor shower allowed a connection no nature. Hammock and hanging chairs, lush landscaping, toucans…. Just too much to mention. We will return to this special place. Lizz did massages on the breezeway our last day to the sound of rain and the birds. Communication was excellent."

"For reference we stayed in Atenas Costa Rica April 14th through April 19th. The house is gorgeous, and the view from the backyard is stunning. On two separate occasions toucans came to the tree in the backyard to feed on the berries. We also had 6 head of cows/ bulls wander up one morning while we enjoyed coffee on the back porch. The late afternoons did get warm, but we just cooled off in the pool. We did not see any rain while we were there. The nights do cool down, but was still a little...

Not only was it a great leap off point to many awesome adventures, it was very comfortable just to relax, listen to birds and waves. "Entire vacation was fantastic. Host / owner and staff could not of been more friendly. Location on the beach, two buildings with multiple bedrooms, common gathering areas and pool made this vacation a huge success for my six buddies and me. The location was very close to the adult activity, casino, stores and restaurants. Special thanks to the property staff. They worked hard and always seemed to have a smile and positive attitude."

"Spacious and comfortable. Apartment with sprawling patio facing the ocean. On the 2nd floor facing the ocean. Not easy to see through the trees -but the sound of pounding waves can be heard inside even with the doors closed views of the river too. Kitchen has lots of cooking tools. No spices or cooking oils. Everything must be brought in. Yummy restaurant within walking distance. Easier to have a car to reach shopping and downtown. Nice pool. 2 Beach towels in each room plus pool noodles....

"This was a spacious property to accommodate a girls trip. The property is beautiful and gives you beach access directly across the street. The water was hot and the pool clean. Shopping and dining are within walking distance. Miro mountain is near the house with a beautiful overlook especially at sunset. The house could stand a good spring cleaning but the caretaker is available for any issues (we didn’t have any). "
