"Casa pequena is a lovely place held by a genuinely nice young couple. For nature and simplicity lovers this place is like heaven. Comfort is basic overall and the owners offer the option to have lunch and dinner on site with good local food. Internet access is a scare ressource only accessible from the main building for the time being but you don't really go there to spend your day on social networks. This is better to have your own car and a 4x4 is needed to access the site and the beaches...
"Incredible views of the bay and forest from the room- we saw macaws, toucans, and hummingbirds fly around our bungalow everyday. Down at the restaurant, we were also lucky to see iguanas and monkeys. The staff is amazing- Ingris, Andre, Lily, and Darlene. Everyone was so so sweet and hospitable. They take care of booking any activities you’re interested in. I recommend dining at their restaurant for dinner!"

"There are many options for a luxury stay at Bahia Drake, which this is not a luxury place. It is clean, safe, and pool is great at end of hot day. It is excellent at a reasonable price point. It is not luxury but that’s not why we were here. "

Nestled high in the trees with a spectacular view of Drake Bay, we went to sleep with the sound of the pounding surf and the calls of green-eyed tree frogs and awoke every morning to the sounds of Capuchin monkeys and yellow toucans. Do yourself a favor and have dinner at the hotel as often as you can. Chef Lily is a true artiste both in terms of flavour and presentation. "Our stay at Tranquilo Lodge was an absolute dream. Sebastien and Christophe are the most amazing hosts. Sebastien helped us plan out the best 4-5 day itenerary and was always around to help with anything we needed during our stay. The grounds are beautiful and maintained well and the view from the pool is absolutely stunning. The serving staff Cristina and Alex were so friendly and attentive.
