Comfortable and clean rooms that were an easy walk to the beach! We had to call ahead after booking to ensure a pet-friendly room as we were travelling with our pup, but once we did we were given a nice room with a patio right next to the path to the beach. There was a nice grassy area with poop bags and bins along the bluff trail with great views of the water to take your dog, as well as firepits to relax at. The room itself was spacious and the beds were so comfy

Spyglass used to be a premier property in Pismo. It is an older property, but that shouldn't always be a detriment. A drssser in my toom, clearly had water damage and looked like it might have mold. There were ants in the bathroom, maintenance did take care of that right away and the front desk offered to move me. My biggest issue was this was a liesure trip over a weekend and EACH morning at 7 am, the cleaning staff walked up and down the sidewalk talking loudly about god knows what. It was like work just just one big social event. This property will not be on my list of options anymore . The front desk staff were excellent, but that isn't enough to make up for the other issues

Bed was comfortable. I didn't like climbing 3 flights of stair with all of my luggage. I wasn't told there was no elevator. Also, I paid extra for a partial ocean view, and I couldn't even see it from the room. I had to go outside and turn my head to the sharp left to see the ocean. No coffee makers in the room. Little as far as amenities.

We got the partial ocean view king. We were checking in late due to a concert we attended in the area. We basically wanted to hear the ocean and wake up to beautiful views. Check in was awkward, the front desk first said they couldn’t find our reservation even though I did their own suggested online check in. He stood there waiting for me to pull up a confirmation. Then didn’t apologize when he realized his mistake. We asked for late check out, but he didn’t put it in notes so we had calls in the morning from front desk and maid service at our door. The partial view was a joke. We were in the very back of property near highway and all we could hear was cars zooming by. Yes we could see the ocean looking over several properties. Definitely not worth paying extra for partial ocean view. Bright side, bed was comfy but experience was sub par for a coastal stay.

The view from our room was beautiful. The outside firepits and seating was incredible. The rooms however do need to be updated. Lighting was terrible, furnishings were dated and damaged. The room was very clean just tired.
