While certainly pricey, it was a lovely experience. The people at the hotel, and in the town were so friendly. A lot of walkable dining options and great wineries nearby. Very memorable weekend.

We love staying at the Wine Stone when we come to town for golf tournaments. This place is adorable! The only thing I can critique is the beds are very worn in/soft and the sink drains are very slow at draining. Other than that… we love!!!

Double charged
When I checked in I was told I had made a reservation on their website for two rooms, and on Hotels.com for two rooms for a total of four rooms. The only confirmation I had for reservations was from Hotels.com for two rooms. I was charged for all four rooms two nights each, and upon appeal was able to get the second night on the two unused rooms refunded. The rooms themselves were nice, but the bed was softer than I like. I wouldn't stay there again.

Great location next to our favorite winery. The night shift gal was so kind that she gave us a glass of wine after hearing about our harrowing journey to get to them. It was our second time stay and I would definitely come back again.

It was fine...........
The hotel design is lovely, the rooms and particularly the bar. The staff was very good. The mattress was extremely soft, too soft for our taste and all the pillows were too soft as well. Although we saw several guests having breakfast there, our opinion was the continental breakfast left much to be desired. No breakfast or just a fresh fruit bowl would be preferred to instant oatmeal packets and prepackaged, preservative filled pastries. The attention to detail in the design was not carried over to the few things that would take this hotel from "It was fine" to "It was really great and you should stay here!"
