"This is the second time we have stayed here and once again, it was great. This property very well appointed and well maintained. It is a short walk to Main St. La Veta, which is very nice. Sitting on the deck in the afternoon, with the sun and the Cuchara River is very relaxing. It is a great choice!"

"Everything was great. The cabin is in a great location, and you have access to a variety of parks, trails, etc. The cabin is clean and extremely well organized. We got hit by a mid-March snowstorm and got snowed in for a day, and Krista went out of her way to get us plowed out and provide information. Great overall experience and highly recommended!"

"We enjoyed staying at this comfortable, beautifully decorated home. It was super pet friendly, which we really appreciated. Just an FYI, even though La Veta is a small town this house is on main street, so any cars that were driving through were heard during the day, at night things were quiet."

"The cabin is clean and well stocked. There are benches and chairs for you to sit outside and enjoy listening to the creek and relaxing. The cabin is next to the Hwy so you will hear some road noise. It's a good Basecamp for going to hike and see some of the beautiful scenery with Spring Creek Trail within walking distance.
