"The property is amazing, loads of space for 4 adults, comfortable and the views are fantastic. The pool was wonderful and Mirko (the property manager) was friendly and helpful. We didn’t have hot water in one of the showers at first, but he fixed the issue relatively quickly. The only downside is the track to the house. It is steep and very bumpy. We were aware of this but even so, the drive was not for the faint hearted!"

"Just amazing property Lucca was lovely. The road leading to the house was no joke its really off-road. I had a rubbish car and it made it but you need to have some vague confidence. Pizza night organised was really enjoyable had a smashing time. Id say the house is definitely child safe but for a really active 1 year old we found ourselves constantly having to monitor him every second he was awake. But it’s defiantly manageable really nice stay and well worth the visit. "

"The small house is in a secluded spot with fantastic views of Castiglione and the mountains, both from the terrace as well as the bedroom. The outdoor pool and jacuzzi were a really nice addition. The owners welcomed us with traditional food and wine, which was very unexpected but very welcome when we arrived in the late afternoon. They also provided us with a lot of recommendations regarding both restaurants and fun things to do in the area. We highly recommend the house and plan to be back. "

"This was exactly as described, Massimo was very engaging and informative, he told the history around the house and surroundings, the place is quaint and cozy, (especially the little wood stove), it was exhilarating to come home to after visiting busy, noisy Florence and Venice, climbing the windy little road was an experience in itself, if you love peace and quiet this is the place. We loved staying here for a month. ❤️"

"The quiet setting of this old farmhouse provided a calm retreat from the hectic days of sightseeing. Giacomo was a gracious host, meeting us when we arrived, giving us numerous helpful tips about sightseeing and restaurants, things to do and places to see. "We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Collemandina. The property was in excellent condition and Leonardo was very helpful with the check in process and also when we didn't have any hot water. The location is very picturesque and quiet. The only downside is that it is a little isolated. There is a restaurant near the property but it is probably a 20 minute walk up steep roads. We were very reliant on using the car to get everywhere when ideally there would be some amenities a little bit closer."
