"This is a beautiful hotel with wonderful staff, unfortunately a leak from the top floor impacted our stay as we came back from a day of touring and our bathroom was flooded. "The hotel was conveniently located near the Atocha train station in Madrid and was a small 10 minute walk away from El Retiro Park. The hotel staff was amazing and let us check in as early as at 8:00 AM following our international flight arrival since there were rooms available. The room was comfortable and with excellent amenities. Catching a train to Toledo for a day trip from the Atocha train station was only a 15 min walk away. "

"honestly this place did not look like a hostel. More like a holding cell for immigrants , in fact I was asked if I was part of a Colombian group that is staying awaiting deportation.
