They threw us out because they said they had to set up for breakfast while they had other tables still sitting. We were still drinking our wine.

"The property is surrounded by mountains so the view is really wonderful! The ladies in the reception is very welcoming and accommodating. The only issue I have is the different types of bugs they have flying around the windows. There are dead bugs on the floor, but I do not understand why no one cleans them up. We were there for a few nights, they stayed with us from beg. till the end."

Good continental breakfast which can be taken on the outside terrace if you want to. Diana and Elisabeth on the front desk are very helpful indeed. "Property is beautiful everywhere you turn, straight out of a movie! Hotel is located at the top of a mountain and you get to over see the vineyards and cities., absolutely beautiful views. The only downside is the hotel only has 2 restaurants that offer diner and they alternate on which night they are opened, you also need reservations in advance and even then tables with a view are not guaranteed. "
"Its a lovely hotel. Only hotel that gave me complimentary water. Breakfast buffet was fabulous. Staff attended to me promptly. Rooms are neat and big and the ambience is very welcoming. Only issue is the distance. Its located along the highway on the outskirts of town. I cant say its worth the distance (1hr 30mins from town) but its a lovely hotel"

"Grand hotel Cappuggi did not disappoint. I stayed with my 3 children for 10 nights end of june , start of july. Very reasonably priced 4* hotel experience haf by all. A little out of town (2 miles) but free shuttle bus (or taxi if not available) shows excellent customer care. Receptionists very helpful, cleaners nice and cheerful. Fabulous swimming pool essential in 38° temperatures. Football and tennis available. Ball provided keeping my boys well entertained. Thiroughly recommend this hotel as a point from where to explore Tuscany and further afield.

"First of all, we had no car. We had planned to have one but Italy recently changed the law and the rental companies haven’t updated their contract language or online policies to make that clear. If you have no car, you will be trapped here. There is one restaurant. The breakfast is paltry and they run out of items. There is little fresh like fruit. There is no lunch available and the town is a far walk down a mountain road. They make no exceptions for this. The dinner starts later and the menu is limited. Otherwise it’s fine. The pool and rooms are not how they are represented in the pictures. Overall very expensive for what you get especially if you hadn’t planned to be trapped there. It’s not set up for you to be so. Updated pictures are needed. "
