The room was a sauna. No AC and little ventilation. One little fan which basically circulated the hot air in the room. One little window in the bathroom without screen, which allowed mosquitoes to enter the room. It would have been nice to have a creen door with a safety lock so we could at least sleep with the door open since temperature outside was very pleasant. The hotel itself needs some updating but has good bones. We had two very challenging nights sleeping in the heat and with mosquitoes. We were told that The hotel has been sold and will change management next month. I hope they make the necessary investment to make it more comfortable. The location is good and relatively quiet.

Not the place for winter stays - no heat, no water

The hotel location on the outskirts of town is good if you have your own car. There is plenty of parking. The hotel provided a very basic continental breakfast, but there is no longer a restaurant here. You need to go into town for lunch/dinner. There is no fridge or microwave in the room. The room windows open onto an interior hallway, not outside. They are frosted for privacy and generally don’t provide much light so the rooms are a bit cave-like. The patio area in the “superior” pool-facing rooms is quite nice. The walls are very thin so you need to hope for quiet neighbors. This could be a nice place, but if have a requirement of hot showers and a heated room in winter, definitely stay somewhere else. There are gas heaters provided in the rooms. Unfortunately they have no ventilation so after about 20 minutes they burn up all the oxygen and shut off, leaving you in a cold, oxygen-depleted room. The only way to keep the heaters running is to open the windows and door, letting in all the cold air, and defeating the point of the heater in the first place. The hotel also warned that there may be power and water outages. There definitely were, on three of the four mornings we were there. They only lasted about 30 minutes, however when the power went out, so did the water. Trying to take a shower in the morning was a risky proposition. And even when there was water, hot water was hit or miss, and a cold shower in an unheated room when it’s 35F outside is not fun.

I paid extra to get the room with the patio, apparently this room doesn't exist at the hotel and we were given the standard room that cost less on Expedia. They don't seem to care at check-in, although not sure if this was their fault or expedia's because it didn't show a patio option on any other site.

Schöne kleine gemütliche Unterkunft für den Aufenthalt in der Atacama Wüste. Wir waren 5 Tage vor Ort und sehr zufrieden. Etwas ausserhalb von San Pedro. Aber perfekt um die Ruhe etwas zu genießen. Wir hatten einen Mietwagen und waren deshalb flexibel. Empfehlenswert sind definitiv die Zimmer mit "Poolblick". Nur ein paar Euro teurer aber dafür hatte man seinen eigenen kleinen Außenbereich zum entspannen und den Abend ausklingen zu lassen. Das Personal konnte zu unserem Glück englisch sprechen und war super hilfsbereit und hat uns viele und gute Tipps gegeben. Alles in allem war der Aufenthalt wirklich schön. Die meiste Zeit ist man ja sowieso unterwegs. :)

A great place to stay in San Pedro.

The North Terra is a great place, its clean and comfortable and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Its on the edge of town, about a 2.6 Km walk to "downtown" a little too far for us to walk in the heat of the day but it was not a problem as the hotel has a free shuttle service every 2 hours from 11 AM until 11 PM. WIFI was good most of the time but sometimes slow and sometimes not available outside the lobby area.

Posto bello e stanza pulita, semplice ma con tutto ciò di cui si ha bisogno purtroppo non silenzioso e caro rispetto al resto del Chile. Accoglienza accurata. Occhio al tipp di stanza chr prenotate quelle meno care hanno anche meno aria.

Sehr schönes kleines Hotel mit Pool und sehr freundlichem Personal (Auch Sonderwünsche beim Frühstück etc. wurden berücksichtigt). Die Zimmer sind sauber und bieten alles, was man braucht. Das Hotel liegt ca. 1,5 km südlich vom Zentrum von San Pedro, aber es gibt auf Anfrage alle zwei Stunden einen Shuttle-Service zum Zentrum und zurück. Bei den frühen Ausflügen wird man sowieso direkt vom Hotel abgeholt.

Good hotel, can improve further

Welcoming and efficient staff. Clean. Good breakfast. The furnitures of the room are simple and could easily be improved. Only smnall windows to the outside. There are two types of room some have terrace in front of the pool others are behind with no view at all. Hot water was not always available in the bathroom and when it was, it was hard to regulate the temperature with the available faucet. Wifi was not very stable. Garden could be improved as well. The Acatama desert is of course outstanding.

Ótimo custo benefício

Quartos simples, porém muito limpos e confortáveis. Chuveiro maravilhoso e cama também. Equipe super atenciosa e simpática. Fica há 3km do centro, mas eles tem transfer gratuito a cada 2 horas. A vista da frente do hotel, tem a melhor visão do céu para ver estrelas de Atacama.

Séjour fantastique, à recommander

Vraiment je recommande à 200% cet établissement, il est au calme, pas de pollution lumineuse pour apprécier les étoiles et les réceptionnistes/personnels sont d'une gentillesse et d'un respect incroyable, ils ont été aux petits soins avec nous. On ne peut que apprécier le séjour. Les chambres étaient propres et le petit déjeuner parfait.

Was a tremendous experience be in San Pedro and in a hotel with the quality, friendship, cleanliness, comfort of North Terra. Special mention to Diego in the reception, a very nice person. We, my wife and me enjoyed our days there and recommend everybody go there, specially for people of the third age like us.

Nice hotel with a big parking area! They even have a little restaurant with good food. The staff is super friendly... I would definitely go back here, if I'm ever in San Pedro again.

Desepcionada del lugar

No me gusto el alojamiento no tiene nada que ver con las fotos que se muestran en la página , sin calefacción incorporado y con una estufa agua difícil de prender l, muy lejos del centro lo que hace depender de su servicios de traslado cada dos horas , desayuno deficiente , la habitación sin iluminación muy alto precio para el lugar
