Welcome to Casa Larsen !!
New funky house from 2019 in beautiful San Pedro del Pinatar. With 8 beds, 3 bedrooms (2 beds on the sofa bed), 2 bathrooms and a large roof terrace, the house is perfect for two families. The house is located in a quiet area and has minimal visibility. With a private swimming pool in the garden, this is a perfect house for young and old.
The house is located a short distance to the beautiful Blue flag beaches both on the Mediterranean and the Mar Menor. The salt water lagoon Mar Menor is approx. 170 km2 and around 7 meters at the deepest. The Mar Menor is a few degrees warmer than the Mediterranean all year round.
It is approx. 2 km to the Mediterranean and approx. 2. 2 km to Mar Menor. It takes approx. 7-8 minutes to cycle to either the Mediterranean or the Mar Menor, and about 20 minutes to walk, depending on how fast you walk. Parking is not a problem if you have a rental car (it takes a few minutes to drive to the beach). There are several large parking spaces connected to the beaches which are free of charge.

The nearest airport is Murcia (37 km or about 25 min by car or taxi). You can also fly to Alicante (78 km or about 50 min by car or taxi). Several airlines have direct flights to both airports from Gardermoen (for example Norwegian). Whether you choose Alicante Airport or Murcia it is a short distance to the house, you can rent a car, but it is not necessary. All amenities nearby.

The climate down here is exceptionally good. There is good bathing temperature in the sea until late autumn and there are over 320 days of sunshine a year. In other words, we can guarantee a snow-free holiday !!

Outdoors:
Great tiled outdoor area with private pool and outdoor shower (hot and cold water). Large dining area with plenty of space. There are comfortable loungers and loungers in the pool area. The pool is cleaned and checked every week by a professional company. The outdoor area is well lit at night. If there are ripe lemons on the lemon tree, just make lemonade or have a drink.

1st floor:
Living room with sofa bed and exit to the pool area. Open kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, fridge / freezer, coffee maker, oven and hob. Fully equipped kitchen.
1 double bedroom (160x200), sliding wardrobe and one bathroom.

Sunroof:
Large and airy roof terrace with nice views and sea views. Welcoming lounge with plenty of room for everyone. The roof terrace is 34 m2 and has sun from morning to evening.

Close by:
The area is flat with great wide bike paths. We recommend using a bike to get around the area. Bicycle rental is right near the house. If you want to ride a longer trip during the holidays, the coastal strip north towards Alicante is nice and relatively flat (easy scenery to cycle in) It is also nice to cycle around the nature reserve all the way north by the Mar Menor with flamingos and small salt water pool on the way.

There are several shops near the house. Including Consum (with a fantastic fresh produce department) and Lidl. There are also other smaller kiosks / shops nearby where you can buy fresh baked goods and other things you need.

There are many good restaurants in the immediate area (walking distance). Several also have take-away for those who want it. On the beaches there are many restaurants / tapas bars to choose from.

There is a fantastic spa and wellness center just a 3 minute walk from the house.

For those who want to do water sports activities this is paradise. Several places around the beaches are offered including watercraft, sailing, water skiing, canoeing, scuba diving and flyboarding.

There are several local wineries to which tours are arranged. Here you can learn more about the production and taste the noble drops.

The two nearest shopping centers are called La Zenia (12 minutes by car from the house) or Dos Mares Centro Commercial (9 minutes by car from the house)

When renting it comes with one shower towel and one beach towel for each person in addition to bed linen.
NOK 3000 is payable as deposit upon booking (booking is confirmed upon payment).
100% of rental is due 6 weeks prior to arrival.
Upon arrival, you are greeted by our representative who measures the electricity with you and who delivers keys. Our representative will be your contact person and will help if there is anything you need. (eg shopping for some breakfast if you land late and don't reach the store).
100 kwh is included in the rent per week (this should meet the need more than enough). Tenant pays 0.3 Euro per kwh for consumption over 100 kwh per week.
There is mandatory cleaning in addition to the rent. Laundry costs 100 Euro + 5 Euro per person for washing linen and towels.

New rules for rentals in Spain after 2017 which means that all landlords must be registered and approved by the Spanish authorities.

The property is nice, modern, well equipped in a residential area and quiet. I don’t believe two family’s could comfortably stay there, I believe 4 people absolutely maximum. However, around the property is graffiti, litter, half built buildings, waste land and building plots. You are not in walking distance of MANY restaurants you need a car to drive to many restaurants. There is no local shop we could find, you need a car just to buy water. In walking distance I found 2 restaurants both run by a Sikh family offering Italian or Indian food. There is a local bar run by a Chinese family. It’s not your authentic Spanish holiday experience! The listing needs changing and we left after 3 days of the week we booked and moved to another Villa near to facilities. It’s also expensive for what it is.

Great property for a family
The house is great. Very modern with a nice pool, roof terrace, well equipped kitchen, electric scooters and gas bbq. The area is very quiet and 3 good supermarkets are within 10mins walk. 30min walk to the beaches, but only a short drive.

Very patient and friendly property manager. We were a little later arriving than expected and the man helped us very kindly. During our stay he checked in with us to see if we needed anything and if everything was what we expected. Because I think this is a very new rental there were some practical things missing, but that was all. Nice house and I liked how close everything was, all in short driving distance.
