"The young lady at the front desk seemed miserable and unapproachable. Luis, was great! He worked the breakfast shift on Christmas Eve. The suite I stayed in was very dated. The suite was not cleaned upon my arrival. Arm chair, sofa and coffee table was stained, dirty and old. I had to buy 3 Glade air fresheners to get rid of old smells. I did have a good time here but that front desk worker as I mentioned above was not helpful and needs to be retrained . "

"My wife and I really enjoyed this cozy retreat in the Oakland Hills! It has a spiritual vibe and includes many examples of artistic stonework done by the host. We liked the location about halfway up the hills, so it feels hidden in a forested glade - we heard owls more than once - and is protected from the wind that is often experienced at the top of the hills. The sofas were serrt, there was dust wverywherethe stoves do. Ot work amsd nekther soes the drige. There is a coin op washwr and dryer There were about 5 towels for a group of 18. There was a roach in the kitchen. The patio furniture was covered in dirt and mold. This property should be removed from the site, it is not ready for rent....

"The innkeeper was incredible and was SO helpful with everything! The house was really detailed and my kids loved it! Our only issue was that it didn’t feel very clean. My mom ended up cleaning the inside of the microwave while we were there and a lot of the kitchen and bathrooms could have used a deep clean. "We loved Stella's ground floor apartment -- clean, bright, spacious, it served all of our needs. The kitchen had just enough of everything utensil-wise for us to cook simple meals. Very convenient neighborhood with easy parking. The only caveat is that we sometimes heard music at night -- loud bass on someone's sound system. But otherwise this is a real find and we enjoyed being able to spread out."
